My posts here on this topic have slowed for one plain and simple reason: my communities seem to be falling apart.
It is the time of year for that, to some extent, but it is an unusual year as so many friends move from the area, change jobs, change the nature of their relationships, change.
These are the things I did not anticipate at the beginning of the month. And yet, I can see the fragility of so many communities, if they are not stuck with the right sort of glue, or made of the right stuff from the get-go

A bit of contemplation is in order. In the meanwhile, more writing time.
